The Pittsburgh Steelers in dire of need for depth on the defensive line, have agreed to terms on a two year deal with San Diego Chargers nose tackle Cam Thomas (6-4, 330).

Thomas a 5 year veteran had 23 tackles and no sacks in 2013. In his career Thomas has 70 tackles, 6 sacks. His best season was 2011 when he had 4 sacks.
Thomas is far from an impact player but adds more bulk to the middle and could let the Steelers get creative and move Steve McLendon to defensive end more, where scouts feel he is better suited. Thomas is nick named Baby Zilla. He was Pro Football Talks No. 105th ranked free agent.
