Forward Eric Tangradi and defensemen Brian Strait and Simon Despres have been re-assigned to Wilkes Barre/Scranton so they can play in the AHL playoffs.
All three had valuable experience in the Penguins brief playoff run this spring.
Wilkes Barre leads the Hershey Bears 2-0 in their first round playoff series.
