The Pittsburgh Steelers have arrived in Fort-Worth Texas just after 12:30 p.m. EST and Super Bowl week is officially underway for the AFC champions who are seeking their 3rd super bowl title in six years.
The week will set up for the Steelers as a normal work schedule other than Tuesday's media day.
Here is the Steelers schedule for this week:
Tuesday: Media Day
Wednesday - Thursday: Steelers will practice at TCU university with normal player availability before and afterwards. Only difference from Super Bowl practices is that for this week, the media is not allowed to watch practices.
A national reporter is designated to watch practice and then file a report on practice for other reporters to use. In 2008, Peter King had that specific role for the three Steeler practices.
Friday: The final full practice for the Steelers. There is no player availability on Friday as that ends on Thursday.
However, Mike Tomlin will hold his final press conference of the week on Friday.
Saturday: The players will go through their normal walk-throughs. No media availability on Saturday.
Sunday: Kickoff is 6:29 p.m. for Super Bowl XLV.
