Super Bowl XLIV is set as the Indianapolis Colts (16-2) will represent the AFC and the New Orleans Saints (15-3) will represent the NFC.

The Vikings outgained the Saints 475 to 257 and won the time of possession game by nearly 9 minutes but the Vikings had 5 turnovers compared to the Saints who only turned the ball over once.
Brett Favre's last pass in the 2007 NFC championship with the Green Bay Packers was an interception that led to an overtime loss to the New York Giants and it was the same story tonight for Favre.
Favre threw an interception deep into New Orleans territory in the closing seconds of regulation as the Vikings were just yards away from field goal range.
The Saints won the coin toss in overtime and never gave the ball back to Favre and the Vikings.
Favre's costly interception may be his last pass of his NFL career as speculation has been rampant that the 40 year quarterback will actually retire following the season.
