Contract talks between Penguins GM Ray Shero and the agent for Craig Adams are underway, a source confirmed late Monday night.
The Penguins have shown an “expression of interest” in resigning Adams and while “nothing is imminent”, a deal being worked out as early as this week is possible, a source under the condition of anonymity confirmed tonight.

Adams, 34, made $550,000 in 2010-2011.
