According to multiple reports, TCU has accepted a bid to the Big East Conference, which will take effect July 1, 2012.
TCU has scheduled a news conference for 1 p.m. to make the announcement.
TCU will become the ninth Big East member. The school currently plays in the Mountain West Conference, which does not warrant an automatic BCS bid.
The Frogs are 12-0 on the season and ranked No. 3 in the BCS.
