Insider Only Brad Thiessen sent back to the minors as Johnson resumes No. 2 role

Goaltender Brad Thiessen has been re-assigned to Wilkes Barre/Scranton this afternoon, the team announced. Brent Johnson is back healthy and will resume the No. 2 role, dressing tonight vs the Islanders. Thiessen who has been with the team since February, went 3-1 with a 3.72 goals against average and .858 save percentage in four starts and five games played. After two promising starts, Thiessen struggled mightily in his last two starts vs Winnipeg and Ottawa last week, giving up a combined 12 goals on 58 shots.
