The Detroit Tigers have inquired Torres but no offer has been made. The Tigers are also expected to may a play for Astros closer Brad Lidge.

We first reported the Colorado Rockies expressed interest in Torres last week and now the Denver Post is reporting the Rockies are going to go after Torres and Royals closer Octavio Dotel. Outfielder Matt Harwpe could be on the trading block

Unless the Pirates hit rock bottom in the next couple weeks, Jack Wilson will not be traded the buzzontheburgh has learned. Wilson is drawling minimal interest since the Pirates have put him on the trading block

The White Sox are looking to move outfielder Scott Podsednik according to the Chicago Sun Times. Manager Ozzie Guillen has called out Podsednik on many occasions this season and the Times expects the team to trade him or let him go rather than pay $3 million to bring him back and hope he stays healthy in 2008
