The Pittsburgh Steelers five final cuts are in. The five players released today include cornerback Crezdon Butler, offensive lineman Tony Hills, tight end John Gilmore, punter Jeremy Kapinos and defensive lineman Jarrett Crittenton.
The Steelers’ 53-man roster includes three quarterbacks, four running backs, three tight ends, six wide receivers, nine offensive linemen, seven defensive linemen, eight linebackers, 10 defensive backs, one kicker, one punter and one long snapper.
Here is a breakdown of the 53-man roster:
Quarterbacks (3)
Ben Roethlisberger, Charlie Batch, Dennis Dixon
Running Backs (4)
Rashard Mendenhall, Isaac Redman, Mewelde Moore, Jonathan Dwyer
Wide Receivers (6)
Mike Wallace, Hines Ward, Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, Jerricho Cotchery, Arnaz Battle
Buzz: Arnaz Battle makes the team as the No. 6 receiver.

Heath Miller, David Johnson, Wesyle Saunders
Buzz: Rookie Wesyle Saunders beats out veteran John Gilmore for the No. 3 spot.
Offensive Line (9)
Jonathan Scott, Chris Kemoeatu, Maurkice Pouncey, Doug Legursky, Marcus Gilbert, Ramon Foster, Trai Essex, Chris Scott
Buzz:The final decision came down to Chris Scott and Tony Hills and the Steelers decided to cut ties with Hills who was unable to win the starting right guard job and showed nothing as a tackle, his normal position.

Defensive Line (7)
Aaron Smith, Casey Hampton, Brett Keisel, Ziggy Hood, Cameron Heyward, Chris Hoke, Steve McLendon
Buzz: The Steelers will go into the season with seven defensive linemen as the veteran Chris Hoke retains his roster spot as does Steve McLendon.
Linebackers (8)
LaMarr Woodley, Lawrence Timmons, James Farrior, James Harrison, Larry Foote, Stevenson Sylvester, Chris Carter.
Cornerbacks (6)
Ike Taylor, Bryant McFadden, William Gay, Keenan Lewis, Curtis Brown, Cortez Allen
Buzz: Indications this morning were if the Steelers went with six cornerbacks, Crezdon Butler would be the odd-man out and that’s how it played out as Cortez Allen, the team’s 4th round pick earns the final spot in what will likely be a development season for him.
Safeties: (4)
Troy Polamalu, Ryan Clark, Will Allen, Ryan Mundy
Specialists (3)
Shaun Suisham, Daniel Sepulveda, Greg Warren
Buzz : Daniel Sepulveda beats out Jeremy Kapinos who had a very strong preseason.
