Tristan Jarry named to Subway Super Series

  • Edmonton Oil Kings netminder Tristan Jarry has been named to the WHL roster for the upcoming SUBWAY Super Series, the Western Hockey League announced Thursday. Jarry was one of two netminders named to the squad, which will take on Team Russia in a pair of games, along with Tri-City Americans netminder Eric Comrie. Jarry played in the 2013 SUBWAY Super Series, making 15 saves in a 4-2 WHL win in Lethbridge. Team WHL will face Team Russia in Game 1 of the 2014 SUBWAY® Super Series in Saskatoon on Monday, November 10th, and will continue the series on Tuesday, November 11th with Game 2 in Brandon
