  • Troy Polamalu’s consecutive games streak will end at 30. Polamalu who has not missed a game since November 25, 2012, will miss Sunday’s game vs the Jets due to a left knee sprain. The Steelers don’t believe the injury is long-term but is a tough break for Polamalu who had played in every game the last two seasons. Polamalu had his leg rolled up on late in the second quarter. “We’ll evaluate him at the top of next week and see where we are,” head coach Mike Tomlin said. The best move will likely be to sit Polamalu until after the bye. The Steelers will also be without rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier again due to an ankle injury.
Week 9 vs Ravens: 31 Snaps, 2 Tackles
2014 Stats: 51 Tackles, 1 FF
