The Penguins host the Buffalo Sabres tonight and this is by far the biggest game of the year for the Pens. The reason for that is the New Jersey Devils 102 pts face the Ottawa Senators 102 pts tonight and if the Penguins can pull out a win against the Sabres they will either jump a head of the Senators or the Devils. Worst case scenario is the Senators and Devils game going to overtime.

Tuesday night Predictions: Penguins – Sabres ( 4-2 Pens )
Senators – Devils ( 3-2 Senators )

Speaking of the New Jersey Devils, how about the firing of head coach Claude Julien. The Devils in first place in the Atlantic Division, shockingly fired Claude Julien this afternoon. Is anyone really surprised by this move. I for one am not. There have been whispers for the past couple months that star players such as Elias and Gomez do not get along with Julien and do not believe in his coaching philosophy. Both players are having below average seasons and that had to play a factor Lou Lamoriello making a switch behind the bench as he will take over for the rest of the season.

The Michigan Wolverenes get their man as Jon Beilein is leaving West Virginia. Beilein who almost left WVU for the NC State job last year, has now has reportidley accepted Michigans offer just after winning the NIT championship. This is a move Beilein had to make. After a elite eight and sweet 16 appearance, Beilein got as far as he will in Morgantown and now he has a chance to establish Michigan as an elite program. Beilein made about $750,000 per season with West Virginia and will, according to sources, make in excess of $1 million at Michigan
