Vokoun gives up 3 goals in third period during latest AHL start

  • Tomas Vokoun made his second AHL start this afternoon vs the Toronto Marlies and he allowed 3 goals on 21 shots, suffering a 3-2 loss. Vokoun was perfect through two periods but faced just 8 shots after 40 minutes and then the Marlies took over the game in the third period, out-shooting Wilkes Barre 13-5 in the period and scoring three times in the 3rd. Kenny Ryan scored with 27 seconds left in regulation beating Vokoun for the game winner. Vokoun went 1-1, posting an .891 save percentage in two starts for Wilkes Barre.
