Oakland (0-1) at Kansas City (0-1) 1:00 p.m.

The Oakland Raiders had an embarrassing loss against the Denver Broncos Monday night and now reports indicate Oakland Raiders head coach Lane Kiffin could be fired as early as Monday morning. Veteran quarterback Damon Huard will be at the helm for the Chiefs

Green Bay (1-0) at Detroit (0-1) 1:00 p.m.

Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner rushed for over 200 yards against the Lions. Look for the Packers to control the clock by running the ball consistently on first and second down.

Indianapolis Colts (0-1) at Minnesota Vikings (0-1) 1:00 p.m.

The Colts prolific offense must show up. The Vikings will look to run the ball between the tackles like the Bears did last week against the Colts. Look for the Colts to rebound.

New York Giants (1-0) at St. Louis Rams 1:00 p.m.

Start Plaxico Burress and Brandon Jacobs today in fantasy football.

New Orleans Saints (1-0) at Washington Redskins (0-1) 1:00 p.m.

The Saints have one of the most dynamic offenses in the league while the Redskins are one of the league’s most stagnant offenses. The Skins defense will have to keep the Saints under 20pts

Tennessee Titans (1-0) at Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) 1:00 p.m.

The Tennessee Titans are the better team in just about every category except quarterback. Carson Palmer struggles against physical defenses but he has performed well in the past against the Titans.

Chicago Bears (1-0) at Carolina Panthers (1-0) 1:00 p.m.

This is today’s best game on the 1:00 p.m. schedule. Both teams are trying to get back to playing physical football by pounding the ball between the tackles. The Bears defense looks back but I’m still not sold on Kyle Orton being ready to win a game single handily. He may have to do that today. I give a slight edge to the Carolina Panthers in this one.

Buffalo Bills (1-0) at Jacksonville Jaguars (0-1) 1:00 p.m.

The Jaguars came into this season as a sleeper pick to win the super bowl. Injuries to the offensive line and a subpar performance against the Titans has derailed some of that talk. The season is very early but David Garrard needs more weapons at wide receiver for the Jaguars to take the next step. The Bills put on a great performance in week 1 against the Seattle Seahawks. Look for them to do the same this week and win a close one.

Atlanta (1-0) at Tampa Bay (0-1) 4:00 p.m.

The Buccaneers must slow down Michael Turner and the Atlanta Falcons rushing attack. The Bucs will likely keep 8 men in the box and make rookie quarterback Matt Ryan try to beat them.

Miami Dolphins (0-1) at Arizona Cardinals (1-0) 4:00 p.m.

The Cardinals return home after an ugly win in San Francisco. The Dolphins played the Jets tough and QB Chad Pennington kept them into the game until the finals seconds. Inexperience is the issue for the Dolphins. Look for the Cards to win a easy one at home.

New England Patriots (1-0) at New York Jets (1-0) 4:00 p.m.

Will the balance of power shift in the AFC East? The New York Jets had their good and bad moments last Sunday. Brett Favre and a revamped offensive line have made life easier for running back Thomas Jones. Look for the Jets to rely on Jones to move the chains and Favre to take a couple chances deep against the Patriots suspect secondary. The big question coming into this game will be how Matt Cassel plays. The Patriots are going to make things easy for him with short-intermediate passes and a heavy dose of Lawrence Maroney. The Patriots always find ways to win games when everybody writes them off. Look for today to be no different.

San Franciso 49ers (0-1) at Seattle Seahawks (1-0) 4:00 p.m.

The 49ers have a chance to put the Seahawks in a 0-2 hole but it is very difficult to go into Seattle and win. Expect a Seahawks victory.

Denver Broncos (1-0) at San Diego Chargers (0-1) 4:00 p.m.

The Broncos were impressive in their 41-0 win against the Raiders. The Chargers are the more talented team and should win this game but I’m going against the Chargers for the second straight week and taking the Broncos. This game will come down to the quarterback play. Edge Denver.

Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0) at Cleveland Browns (0-1) 8:15 p.m.

The Steelers have been the talk of the AFC since week 1 and tonight they have a chance to make a statement on national television. The Browns will see a lot of Willie Parker and expect Ben Roethlisberger will take a few more chances down field (weather permitting) then he did last week against the Houston Texas. The Steelers feel Santonio Holmes is a major mismatch for the Browns secondary. Steelers win 31 – 17
