The Tom Bradley to Pitt rumors died pretty quickly. A published report from sports-by-brooks.com on Tuesday indicated that Bradley was Chryst top choice to be the school's defensive coordinator and would be meeting with Pitt officials later this week. There was nothing to the report and Chryst has brought his defensive coordinator on board, ending any Bradley speculation.
Wisconsin Badgers linebackers coach Dave Huxtable will be named Pitt's defensive coordinator under new head coach Paul Chryst, according to multiple reports. Chryst now has 3 coaches on board, including Mt. Lebanon's Chris Haering as linebackers coach and Wisconsin's Bob Bostad at offensive coordinator.
Meanwhile, Pitt interim coach Keith Patterson won't be following Todd Graham to Arizona State after all. Patterson will be named the defensive coordinator at Arkansas State, Paul Zeise reports.
