Penguins assistant coach Mike Yeo will remain in Pittsburgh for the start of the team’s road trip. Yeo, who worked Thursday night’s game against Philadelphia from the press box, will continue to be evaluated by team doctors.
“Mike recently underwent stress tests and we think it is best for him to stay home with his family, relax, and be monitored by our doctors,” head coach Dan Bylsma said.
The Penguins leave today on a 10-day trip that will take them to Toronto, Minnesota, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
