The Steelers returned to practice today after being off since Thursday. Willie Parker, Brett Keisel, Jeff Reed and Marvel Smith are expected to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer will be sidelined for another week. Despite Willie Parker returning to the lineup this week, the Steelers plan to give Mewelde Moore close to ten touches (not including punt returns) Tuesday is the NFL’s trade deadline and the Steelers are listening to offers for Max Starks but as of this afternoon they haven’t received one call about the availability of Starks

NFL: Ravens inquire about Lions WR Williams?

 

Detroit Lions WR Roy Williams an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season and is on the trade market according to multiple reports. The Lions asking price is high but that hasn’t stopped teams from inquiring. The Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks and the Chicago Bears have inquired about the talented wide out, Inside Pittsburgh Sports has learned. The Lions are believed to be seeking a 1st and 3rd round pick in return for Williams. Some expect the Lions asking price to drop but they could franchise Williams and look to move him in the off-season. The trade deadline is OCT 14

NFL: McGahee questionable for Monday Night?

 

Baltimore Ravens running back Willie McGahee has been limited in practice this week due to a swollen eye. McGahee’s eye is swollen badly after what the Ravens claim were intentional tactics by Cleveland Browns players. The Ravens have informed the league and the Ravens believe the tape shows Browns MLB Andra Davis reaching under McGahees visor and poking him in the right eye. Source: ESPN
