The Latest Pirates Buzz

The Pirates have more interest in Ty Wigginton than I thought they would. Wigginton hit .285 last season with 23 homers and 58 RBI’s in 111 games last season. According to sources the Pirates may be willing to offer a two year deal in the $5.5 – $6 million per season range. Wigginton is believed to be seeking a three year deal. My sources are skeptical that the Pirates will be willing to go three years. Huntington is believed to be taking the Ray Shero approach.
