Citadel cornerback Cortez Allen to visit Steelers in the first week of April


The Pittsburgh Steelers intend to bring in at least 5-to-6 cornerbacks for official draft visits over the next month. The team to this point has officially scheduled two visits for cornerbacks. As previously reported on Monday, Texas cornerback Curtis Brown, a projected second round pick, will be in town for a two-day visit on March 30-31. Citadel’s Cortez Allen, a projected mid-round pick, is scheduled for a draft visit for the first week of April, Inside Pittsburgh Sports has learned. Allen like Curtis Brown, has excellent size at 6-foot-1, 197-pounds. In the Steelers scheme, they eye corners with good size and the ability to be run stoppers.
