9/11/08 1st Rankings Free Preview RUNNING BACKS 1) Chris Wells- Ohio State, Jr- (6-1 237lbs) Wells‚Äô value was proven when Ohio State struggled to beat Ohio University Saturday afternoon with Wells out of the lineup. Although he is injured, it isn‚Äôt serious enough (at least at this point) to hurt his stock. The #1 running back spot is definitely his to lose. 2) Knowshon Moreno- Georgia, Eligible Soph- (5-11 207lbs) Moreno is another red shirted player who is eligible as a sophomore. I wouldn‚Äôt be shocked to see him return for his junior season though. 3) C.J. Spiller- Clemson, Junior- (5-11 190lbs) Spiller is very similar to Chris Johnson out of ECU last season. He has breakneck speed which will cause someone to jump on him in the mid to late first round if he chooses to leave with one more year of eligibility remaining. 4) P.J.
