Four Penn State players were not permitted to practice on Tuesday. The 4 players were Maurice Evans, A.J. Wallace, Andrew Quarless and Abe Koroma. The incident was first reported by the philadelphia inquirer. It is very likely that the team will dismiss tight end Andrew Quarless who has been involved in two other incidents.

Pitt basketball schedule released

Pitt released the men’s basketball schedule today. Pitt goes into the 2008-09 season with high expectations. Early indications are Pitt will be ranked #9 in the preseason polls. Weekly Recruiting Update

Penn State hopes to land their 17th commitment of the 2009 class this weekend when receiver Devon Smith 5ft7 – 150lb (Waldorf, Maryland) visits Penn State on Saturday. If you missed Illinois-Missouri then, to steal a line, shame on you for six weeks. This game matched up two exceptional quarterbacks in Juice Williams and Chase Daniels who combined for 774 passing yards.
