The Senators handed the Penguins their worst loss of the season and chased goaltender Marc Andre Fleury from the net in the third period. Fleury was not sharp and gave up 5 goals on 24 shots. Penguins improve to 5-1 on the season Marc Andre Fleury made 30 saves and Tyler Kennedy added two goals as the Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Ottawa Senators 4-1 Monday night at Scotiabank Place. Fleury off to his best start of his career is now a perfect a 5-0 on the season as the Penguins kept pace with the New York Rangers in the Atlantic division to improve to 5-1 on the year. Heatley sweepstakes Heating Up On the eve of the draft, Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray has set a deadline of July 1st to trade star forward Dany Heatley who is due a $4 million-bonus on July 1st. Former Pittsburgh Penguins Assistant GM Chuck Fletcher has the Wild in the mix as the Wild are among the final five teams in the Heatley sweepstakes. The other four teams are the LA Kings, Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers and the Chicago Blackhawks. The Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks are no longer in the mix.

Senators acquire Comrie, Campoli

The Ottawa Senators have acquired forward Mike Comrie and defenseman Chris Campoli from the New York Islanders on Friday in exchange for Dean McAmmond and a first-round draft pick.
