Murray who has eight shutouts on season, allowed only one goal on 110 shots during the month of February, posting a 0.25 GAA, .991 save percentage and three shutouts. On the season he’s 16-8-2 with a 1.65 GAA, .936 save percentage and eight shutouts. The 20-year-old rookie goaltender has registered shutouts in four of his last six starts, allowing just four goals on 150 shots. He has stopped 109 of the last 110 shots he has faced. J.S. Dea nets OT winner, averaging point per game on season

 

J.S. Dea a fast rising prospect in the Penguins system, netted the overtime winner and added an assist in Wilkes Barre’s 2-1 overtime win vs the Phantoms on Wednesday night. Dea scored 13 seconds into a power play, scoring at 4:58 of overtime. Dea now has 3 goals and 7 points in seven games this season, averaging a point per game. Tristan Jarry named to Subway Super Series

 

Edmonton Oil Kings netminder Tristan Jarry has been named to the WHL roster for the upcoming SUBWAY Super Series, the Western Hockey League announced Thursday. Jarry was one of two netminders named to the squad, which will take on Team Russia in a pair of games, along with Tri-City Americans netminder Eric Comrie. Jarry played in the 2013 SUBWAY Super Series, making 15 saves in a 4-2 WHL win in Lethbridge.
