Philadelphia 3 РMilwaukee 1 Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels stifled the Brewers Wednesday afternoon, allowing two hits, striking out nine in eight innings. Hamels retired the Brewers first 14 batters and led Philadelphia to their first playoff win since 1993. The Brewers making their first postseason appearance since 1982, played well but a miscue from centerfielder Mike Cameron, rattled 22 year old pitcher Yovani Gallardo who only lasted four innings.
