Pirates showing interest in Shaun Marcum who has career record of 57-36

The Pirates continue to kick the tires on a few notable free agent starters, including former Pirate Jeff Karstens, and the latest name to surface is Milwaukee Brewers starter Shaun Marcum, according to Jon Morosi of Fox Sports. Marcum went 7-4 for the Brewers in 2012, posting a 3.70 ERA with 7.9 K/9, 3.0 BB/9 and a 35.4% ground ball rate in 124 innings. Marcum made $7.725 million in 2012.
