PITTSBURGH PENGUINS RE-ASSIGN MINARD AND PESONEN TO WBS

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forwards Chris Minard and Janne Pesonen to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL). Minard played two games, posting three shots and three hits during his stint with Pittsburgh. Prior to his recall, the 26-year old led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins with 13 points (seven goals, six assists) in seven games. Pesonen, 26, made his NHL debut with Pittsburgh November 1 against the St. Louis Blues and played under 10 minutes. Both players were emergency call ups due to the Penguins injuries upfront.
