Bonino sinks Capitals in Game 1


Nick Bonino broke the Capitals hearts once again, scoring a breakaway game winning goal at 12:36 of the third period in 2-2 game to lead the Penguins to a game 1 win .

Sidney Crosby had 2 goals, scoring 52 seconds apart moments into the second period.

With Washington chasing the game, the Capitals rallied with goals from Alex Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov but Nick Bonino would strike for the breakaway goal and Marc Andre Fleury would close the door late as the Penguins have a 1-0 series lead.

Game 2 is Saturday night.
