The New England Patriots are headed back to the Super Bowl and James Harrison showed he can still play.
New England always finds a way and they did again with a 4th quarter comeback in rallying past the Jaguars for a 24-20 win in the AFC Title Game.
New England trailed by 10 in the 4th quarter but in typical New England fashion, the Patriots would outscore the Jaguars 14-0 in the final nine minutes of the game to secure a trip to Super Bowl LII.
The Steelers couldn’t find time for James Harrison to even get 5 snaps a game.
When the Patriots needed stops, all Harrison did today was go out and provide 3 QB pressures in the 4th quarter and a sack at the 2-minute warning to force a 3rd and 19 for the Jaguars and eventual turn over on downs.
The Steelers could have used a part time player last week get to the QB.
SILVERBACK
Stupid article. Harrison wasn’t playing here. Steelers were playing the younger guys who had more upside and also needed to cover. James wasn’t happy and became a distraction. It is what it is. James wanted to start. That wasn’t in the best interest of the team. Sure, it would have been nice for him to be a team player, but it wasn’t to be. Sometimes things don’t work out and you don’t have to assign blame. Way more valid things to blame Tomlin and Co for!
