Jeter shines for Panthers in first start of season

Panthers 90 – Virginia Tech 71

Looking to add some physicality to his starting lineup, Panthers head coach Jamie Dixon inserted Sheldon Jeter into the lineup and Jeter flourished in his first start of the season in leading the Panthers to a 90-71 win over Virginia Tech.

Jeter came out scoring 13 of the Panthers first 17 points, finishing with a team-high 23 points and adding 7 rebounds in the win. Jeter was efficient as it gets, going 9-13 from the floor and 5-6 at the line in just 23 minutes.
