Josh Bell (.261-21HR-72RBI) clubbed his 21st home run of the season and drove in 4 runs in the Pirates (60-64) 6-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals (63-61) at Williamsport.

The game at Williamsport was a smashing success for MLB as players from both sides embraced the game.

Pittsburgh’s 1-4 hitters, Starling Marte (2-3), Josh Harrison (2-4), Andrew McCutchen (2-4), Josh Bell (2-4) went a combined 8-15 with a home run, 5 RBIs.

Pittsburgh splits the four game series with the Cards but the damage is already done due to the six game skid that ended Saturday.

The Pirates enter Monday four games below .500 and 6.5 games out of first place.

The MLB leading Los Angeles Dodgers come to town Monday night.
