— Gabriel Landeskog (2) scored 22 seconds into overtime, leading the Colorado Avalanche (2-0-0, 4 pts) to a 4-3 win on Monday night over the Pittsburgh Penguins (2-0-1, 5 pts) . Landeskog who had a two goal night, tied the game on the power play with 6:32 left in the third, then added the OT winner to complete a come from behind win for the Avs.


— Pittsburgh jumped out to an early 2-0 in the first period with goals from Phil Kessel (2, PPG) and Matt Cullen (1). Kessel has goals in consecutive games. Cullen became the 4th oldest (39 years old) player in Penguins history to score a goal. Trevor Daley (1) also scored in the loss.


Marc Andre Fleury made 27 saves (.871 sv%) on 31 shots. Fleury stopped 19 of 20 5 v 5 shots.
