Penguins fall to Coyotes in OT

Arizona 4 – Penguins 3 (OT): The Pittsburgh Penguins rallied from a late 3-1 third period deficit to get a point in a 4-3 overtime loss to the lowly Coyotes.

Down 3-1, Josh Archibald (2) scored his second goal of the game, shorthanded with 5:22 left in the third to get the Penguins within one and Phil Kessel (19) scored a 6-on-5 goal with 14 seconds left in regulation to force OT.


In overtime, Pittsburgh failed to score on a 4-on-3 power play and with 21 seconds left defenseman Connor Murphy iced the game with his first goal of the season, beating Marc Andre Fleury from 51 feet out for the goal. Fleury stopped 21 of 25 shots to take the loss.
