Pitt beats Georgia Tech 31-28

Pitt kicker Chris Blewitt hit a go-ahead 56 yard field goal with 1:11 left in the fourth quarter, delivering a 31-28 win over Georgia Tech.

The Panthers (5-1, 3-0) improved to 5-1 on the season, including 3-0 in the ACC.

Georgia Tech lost for the fifth straight game despite rushing for 376 yards.

Pitt QB Nathan Peterman was 14/21 for 165 yards and threw for 3 touchdowns in the victory. WR Tyler Boyd had 8 receptions for 65 yards, 2 touchdowns.
