Pitt strengthens NCAA Tourney resume with close win over Syracuse

Pittsburgh 72 – Syracuse 71

Cameron Johnson scored a career-high 24 points off the bench as Pittsburgh bolstered their NCAA tournament chances by holding off a late run by Syracuse to defeat the Cuse 72-71 in the second round of the ACC Tournament.

Next up for Pitt in the ACC Tournament is North Carolina
