The Boston Red Sox radio job has been offered to Tim Neverett of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Boston Herald reports. Neverett, a 49-year-old Nashua, N.H., native and Emerson College graduate, has been a member of the Pirates’ play-by-play team since 2009. According to the report, Neverett has not accepted the job yet, but he was in Boston this week meeting with the Red Sox and with officials from Entercom, which owns 93.7 WEEI, the longtime flagship station of the Sox’ extensive radio network.
