Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger broke his silence this afternoon.
However, Roethlisberger made just a short-statement and only answered two questions about making changes in his personal life and that was it.
I just want to let you guys know how good it is to be back on the field. It’s been a long time away, “Roethlisberger said.
” It’s been hard, but I’ve been putting in a lot of time and effort, and working hard both on and off the field while I’ve been gone.”
“I’m looking forward to the second chance and the second opportunity, not just in football because I think everybody knows what you’re going to get in football but in life. I think that’s what is more important.”
Those looking for Roethlisberger to answer a lot of questions about his situation came away disappointed.
Meanwhile…..

Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Jeff Reed admitted this afternoon to under-going counseling similar to what Roethlisberger just went through.
Reed said that the counseling was mandated following his urine incident from last fall.
Reed is currently in negotiations with the Steelers about a new four year deal.
