NHL: Sabres showcasing Afinogenov?

The Buffalo Sabres aggressively tried to trade right winger Maxim Afinogenov this summer. Afinogenov who played in only 56 games last season registered 10 goals and 18 assists to go along with a -16 plus/minus rating. Afinogenov enters this season playing on the Sabres first line and some speculate that the Sabres may be showcasing him for a trade Source: Buffalo News
