After scoring only three even strength goals through two games, head coach Dan Bylsma is looking to make changes at the forward position as the Penguins face the New Jersey Devils Monday afternoon. Among the changes include Mark Letestu being elevated to the second line and Pascal Dupuis being demoted to the 4th line who Bylsma said today isn’t doing the things that made him successful last season.

Tangradi demoted to Wheeling for the time being

The Penguins made one of the strangest roster announcements I’ve seen in a while, announcing the team has assigned Eric Tangradi to Wheeling of the ECHL and have recalled goaltender Patrick Killeen to get their roster to 23. The Penguins announced this evening that the team assigned left wing Eric Tangradi to Wheeling of the ECHL and defenseman Simon Despres to Saint John of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
