The Penguins had their final preseason game today in Finland. Sidney Crosby led the way with 3 assists. Crosby set up first period goals by Evgeni Malkin and Ruslan Fedotenko. Tyler Kennedy scored the Penguins third goal to put the Penguins up 3-1. Crosby assisted on Pascal Dupuis first goal of the preseason that put the Penguins up 4-1. Max Talbot, Paul Bissonnette, Bill Thomas, and Petr Sykora did not dress. Sykora and Talbot have minor injuries. Is Janne Pesonen finding his comfort zone? Thomas has really picked up his game since preseason play has opened up. He has been effective on the forecheck and is creating opportunities in the offensive zone. Thomas was the team’s top forward Monday night against Tampa Bay. Bissonnette has caught the eye of the coaching staff since the first day of training camp. He came into camp as a major longshot but worked hard and has been the team’s most physical player in camp. The coaching staff is very high on Bissonnette
