Farm Report: Pesonen nets 11th goal of season in 4-2 win

 

The Wilkes Barre/ Scranton Penguins took care of business Friday night beating the Binghamton Senators 4-2 without leading scorer Chris Minard. Minard was called up today and leads the AHL with 26 goals. J-M Daoust‚Äôs power play tally with less than three minutes put the WBS Penguins on top 3-2 in the third. period. Mark Letestu (09:15 1st), Janne. Pesonen (08:29 2nd), and Connor. James (19:59 3rd) also scored for the Penguins. Pesonen added his 11th goal of the season to give him 35 points in 32 games. While it doesn‚Äôt look like he will be given a shot with the Penguins, there is still some mild interest in him around the league. I could still see him moved in a packaged deal at the deadline.
