Neil Walker sets franchise record for most home runs in a season by a second baseman

  • Neil Walker hit his 20th home run of the season vs the Cubs this afternoon, setting a Pirates franchise record for most home runs in a season by a second baseman. Bill Mazeroski previously held the franchise record with 19. Walker’s solo shot in the 4th put the Pirates on the board for the first time today and Pittsburgh trails the Cubs 3-1 in the top of the 5th.
