The Steelers tried aggressively to trade up in the second round to land Oregon center Max Unger but after failing to find a trade partner, the Steelers traded their 2nd round and 4th round pick to the Denver Broncos for two third round picks (79) & (84).
The Steelers now have three third round picks as rounds 3-7 resume at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Unger was a target for the Steelers in the first round and would have been a great value in the second.
