The Pittsburgh will start the season without starter A.J Burnett who the team has regarded as their no. 1 starter for this season.
Burnett will be sidelined for at least 8-12 weeks after surgery to repair a broken right orbital bone. Under the current projected timetable, Burnett could be back in the rotation by early May.
