Second year wide receiver Antonio Brown has been voted the Steelers team MVP in what is a surprising move to many. Brown who broke a team record for all-purpose yards, edged out the likes of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Brown did not become a starter until the middle of the season and has surpassed the 1,000 yard receiving mark, with 1,018 receiving yards on 63 catches this season to go with 2 touchdowns
The 2010 6th round pick has 989 return yards and 1 return TD on the season. Brown came into the season as the No. 4 receiver and he’s had the type of season that many thought Emmanuel Sanders would have had. Brown though has been the one to emerge as a star, providing a Santonio Holmes type of dynamic game. Speaking of Sanders, he’s on track to return to the lineup vs the Browns, along with Ben Roethlisberger and Maurkice Pouncey.
