Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma will be introduced as the head coach of Team USA for the 2014 Olympics on Saturday afternoon, the USA today reports. Bylsma has widely been seen as the front runner for months.
Kevin Allen of USA Today writes, “According to two people with knowledge of the decision, the Nashville Predators’ David Poile will be the team’s general manager, while Pittsburgh Penguins Ray Shero will be his associate general manager and Anaheim Ducks consultant Brian Burke will be the director of player development.
Penguins coach Dan Bylsma has been selected to be the USA’s coach in Sochi.”
