• Charlie Morton (hip) expects to be ready for the start of the season, according to the Tribune-Review. Morton had surgery on September 26th with a six to eight month recovery. He is up to around 40 pitches in his bullpen session. Morton is due $8 million this season and projected to be the Pirates No. 4 starter if his health holds up.
