Steelers Friday Injury Report
Mike Wallace (hamstring), Rashard Mendenhall (knee), Maurkice Pouncey (elbow) were full participants in today’s practice and are expected to play Sunday afternoon vs the Arizona Cardinals.
Wallace has been dealing with a sore hamstring for much of the week and limited his work until today.
Merndenhall and Pouncey each had injuries pop up yesterday.
From left to right the Steelers starting offensive line will be Max Starks – Chris Kemoeatu – Maurkice Pouncey – Ramon Foster – Marcus Gilbert.
Gilbert and Kemoeatu will both return to the lineup.
The Steelers have soured on Jonathan Scott who has a strong supporter in his corner in offensive line coach Sean Kugler.
Hoke Doubtful
For the Steelers, DT Chris Hoke did not practice for the third straight day and is listed as doubtful for Sunday. Steve McLendon is preparing to make his first career start in place of Hoke.
Jason Worilds is questionable with a quad injury. He wouldn’t start at ROLB, even if he were healthy as the Steelers intend to stick with Lawrence Timmons until James Harrison returns.
Casey Hampton, Aaron Smith, James Harrison and Doug Legursky have all been ruled out.
