The Pittsburgh Steelers intend to go into the season with Landry Jones and Bruce Gradkowski as their backup QB’s.
The 33 year old Gradkowski will sign a one year contract on Monday with the Steelers, returning for a fourth season with Pittsburgh. Gradkowski missed all of last season due to injury.
In his career with the Steelers, Gradkowski has never thrown a pass during a regular season game. His only pass attempts (3) as a Steeler came in the wild card playoff game vs the Ravens on Jan 3, 2015 when Ben Roethlisberger was banged up in the 4th quarter.
