Sunday’s top performer in the Steelers first pads practice was clearly third year linebacker Ryan Shazier.

Shazier shined in the backs-on-backers drill and was a force in getting into the backfield during team drills.

“He’s [Ryan Shazier] becoming what we expect him to become,” head coach Mike Tomlin said of Shazier.
