Connor McDavid’s second NHL season saw him lead the Edmonton Oilers to their first playoff berth in 11 years and McDavid ran away from the competition over the last two weeks of the season to win the NHL scoring race by 11 points.

The Hart Trophy frontrunner, McDavid finished the season 100 points and led the NHL in points per game, 1.22.
